| The Utah Amateur Hockey Association Annual Business meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 29th at 6:00 PM at the E Center. Geoff Fisher, our UAHA President will deliver the “State of Utah Hockey” address to review where we are now and where we intend to take Utah Hockey in the coming year. Each of the State Board members representing the various section of the Utah hockey community (Tier, Youth, High School, Girls/Women and Adult) will deliver a status report on their segment of Utah hockey highlighting their accomplishments during the past year, their plans for the upcoming year and special dates to mark on your calendar. In addition, we will hear from our State Registrar; our State Referee in Chief; our State Coaching Education Representative and our State Association Coaching and Education Coordinator. We would ask that the President of each sub-affiliate organization as well as each member of their Board of Directors attend the meeting. As we move forward to Grow the Game this coming year, we would like each sub-affiliate to send a minimum of two representatives to each of our State activities – ADM Clinics; Grow the Game seminars; Try it Free Clinics; Hockey Weekend Across America, coaching seminars, Rocky Mountain District Development Camp, etc. The meeting is open to each and every registered member of the Utah Hockey community – players, parents, coaches, referees and administrators. So please – urge all of the members of your organization to attend so they can keep abreast of what’s happening in Utah Hockey. The room assignment at the E Center for the meeting will be posted on the State website, utah-hockey.org. So we can prepare for seating, please RSVP as soon as possible to our State Secretary, Sandy Curtis at delicate_flower@comcast.net. Please let her know your name, your organization and your title.
We hope to see all of you at the meeting. Geoff Fisher, President |
