2008-09 Hockey Season Details

The New 2008-09 Season is HERE! Practices start October 4th (10 days ahead of last year) and the first games are scheduled for November 1st.

DCYHA provides house teams and travel teams for boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 15 years old. Regardless of age or skill level, registration for all players is the same.

REGISTRATION is set for Thursday, September 4th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. We will meet upstairs in Meeting Room B at the SDRC.

HOW TO REGISTER

The followinig simple steps show how to register to play hockey at DCYHA.

  1. Register online with USA hockey as a player for the new season. (Players under 18 will need to be registered by their parents or legal guardian.) Cost for registering with USA hockey is $40 per player.
  2. Download and complete the required DCYHA forms
    1. DCYHA Registration Forms
    2. DCYHA Participant Code of Conduct
    3. DCYHA Consent to Treat & Medical Emergency Authorization
  3. Bring completed forms and payment to registration night on September 4th at the SDRC.

On the night of our registration you will need to provide the DCYHA Registrar with the following information for each player:

  • USA Hockey Registration receipt
  • DCYHA Registration Forms
  • DCYHA Participant Code of Conduct
  • DCYHA Consent to Treat & Medical Emergency Authorization
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Payment

Fees for the 2008-09 Hockey Season will be $350 per player. If your player needs a new or bigger jersey they are available for an additional $50. Matching socks are available for $10. DCYHA does have a sponsorship program where players can help cover costs by selling advertisements to area businesses.
