Mites
The youngest players at DCYHA fall under the category of "Mites". This division includes all players under 9 years old. This is a no-checking division and most games and scrimmages are played on half-ice to maximize the amount of time the players get to spend with the puck (as opposed to chasing it from one end of the rink to another).
