Hockey is an amazing sport and a great way to have fun, meet new friends, learn some new skills, and be a part of a team.
Davis County Youth Hockey Association provides a Learn to Play Hockey program (LTPH) every summer. This program is designed specifically to 1) have fun and 2) help those interested in playing and those curious about playing hockey an inexpensive way to try the sport. Last year's participants included boys and girls ranging from 4-13 years old.
Our coaches are certified by USA Hockey and participants will experience several weeks of on-ice sessions including basic instruction and games. Topics will include forward and backward skating, edges, starting and stopping, stickhandling, shooting, positioning, and basic game play.
