Davis County Youth Hockey Association (DCYHA) offers “Quick Start” hockey classes for boys & girls at the South Davis Recreation Center in Bountiful. Our course teaches the basics of ice hockey so graduates may enter DCYHA’s Fall/Winter recreational hockey league. Each session is taught by USA Hockey certified coaches. This is NOT a learn-to-skate class. Basic skating ability is required. You must have your own ice hockey stick. Hockey skates are available at the South Davis Recreation Center. Additional gear including helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, and shin pads are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
($50 deposit required on rental gear—refundable upon return of gear)
Ages: 5 through 14
Pricing: $50 program fee plus $50 refundable deposit
Dates: September 26 through October 31, 2009
Times: Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Quick Start will start 15 minutes early on October 31. Instead of starting at the usual time of 10:00 am, it will start at 9:45 am.
