Here is the text from an email I received from the Grizzlies organization concerning them giving our players 1 ticket each to 3 games in exchange for $10:
Peter Erickson,
Thanks for taking the time to speak with me today. We are looking forward to having DCYHA come aboard with us for the 2009-2010 season. The $10.00 registration increase that we are trying to build in for the kids includes:
*3 Games for the 2009-2010 season with the Utah Grizzlies
- Opening Night – Friday, October 23rd
- You choose the second night – USA Hockey weekend is January 29th-31st-
- We will work with you on a third night to see what fits in your schedule.
*You have the option to choose a date where chuck a puck is open. The kids can sell the pucks and go on the ice during our second intermission.
*The kids can play a short game on the ice during the first intermission if it is open for the night that you choose to come out.
We already have WMAHA, Cache Valley, Park City, Ashley Valley, and Salt Lake County on board for the ticket increase. Some of them have already had registration and it has gone very smoothly. The kids will sign up and however many there are, that is how many tickets we will get out to you. We will get the tickets out to you in one block before opening night and before the other games that you choose. You can distribute them accordingly throughout all the kids. We can get Grizzbee out at a later point throughout the season we will see if we can get a player out to one of your practices. It is a great deal for the kids and it should be a good opportunity to grow the sport of hockey throughout Utah.
