Friends, Fun and Non-Stop Hockey

Welcome to DCYHA

DCYHA will be holding its annual Christmas Fundraiser this Saturday at the SDRC during all home games. This is great time to stock up on DCYHA gear and order that special something for the holidays

This Saturday!

November 15th from 7:15 am to noon.

wallsplatzThis year we have some extra special products courtesy of wallsplatz.com. These products are life-sized posters of your favorite athlete...your kids. Just like FatHeads only this product is produced locally by a major hockey fan. They are giving DCYHA a great deal and this is a great chance to get a life-sized cutout of your kid doing what they love most. Great for decorating bedrooms, recreation rooms, and showing your DCYHA pride on your cars. Pictures can be anything you want. Dance recitals, any sporting event, family pet, etc. they will all make an excellent Christmas gift for your favorite athlete / personality.

Make sure you stop by the rink and see what it's all about! Order your WallSplatz this Saturday and a portion of the proceeds go directly to DCYHA. Check them out online but make sure you order this Saturday at the rink!

Get your DCYHA logo t-shirts, sweaters, hats, stickers, personal zamboni, etc. We will also be offering snacks on the top of the bleachers again this year so come hungry for donuts, chocolates, apples, hot cocoa, coffee, etc. This is a great time to treat the players as all sales benefit DCYHA.

This will be your last chance to buy DCYHA merchandise before the holidays so don't miss it!

be an ice hockey officialWanna Ref?

WIHOA is looking for the few, the proud, the referees. Have you ever wanted to put on the stripes and blow the whistle? Anyone can call the perfect game from the stands but the real action is on the ice.

Certified Ice Hockey Officials earn between $18 and $75 per hour and must be at least 12 years old. It is a great way to earn a little extra money while enjoying the sport of ice hockey. DCYHA has provided many great officials over the past few years and some of our players are entering their 3rd season as an ice hockey official.

If you have ever thought of becoming an ice hockey official, now is your lucky break. If you are even slightly interested, or if you know someone who may be, have them contact Brian Acord for more information. You will be provided with certified USA Hockey Officials training and required seminars are taught at many Utah rinks over the next few months. -- Get Involved! Make a Difference!

(WIHOA (Wasatch Ice Hockey Officials Association) is the governing body of all hockey referees in the state of Utah.)
